Re: Preparation for the Quantum era.
in Bitcoin Discussion
Do you trust this to be preparation for the quantum era, or is it a plan to create a BTC fork coin that will get people's attention?

As he said this is just a test and nothing is certain here so although it looks very good as an anticipation or early preparation about quantum computers that are overrated rumors it is also like a situation where we are afraid that quantum computers will definitely happen.

Until now I don't believe or maybe it's more like not caring about quantum computers because for me it's just an exaggerated rumor but there is still no relevant proof to date and with this test it will actually increase the confidence of ordinary people about quantum that it is really very good even though we don't even believe quantum will definitely be realized like the claims they are always raising now.

Re: Sometimes You Need a Break
in Gambling discussion
When I lose, I simply tell myself to stop and quit, so I don't even allow myself to end up in a terrible situation on the day of the game, that's all.
I do something like that too; there's nothing better than resting and taking the necessary breaks, We shouldn't always push ourselves to the limit to win or achieve good results in the game We're casino players we win, we lose. We can't always be looking for results that benefit us because in the long run we'll lose, We shouldn't forget that it's best to play with controlled money and avoid running out of money.

We have to think coldly to do this because sometimes when we lose, we are always eager to increase and even not infrequently increase the bet with the aim of making a reversal and getting profit or taking capital that has been lost from the previous defeat.

This kind of ambition is quite difficult for some gamblers to avoid even though they realize that they need a little rest but indeed sometimes the urge to continue gambling is a little stronger which makes us forget important things where the limits in terms of time and money spending limits that we have become invalid just because of the lust we have.
The fact is that taking a short break apart from being able to make us like thinking more clearly, we also forget about ambition because we will always think that this is the beginning of gambling but there must be strength that must be possessed where we must be disciplined with ourselves and dare to stop even if we lose and not make victory the initial benchmark in gambling.

Re: Gambling apps are not good for privacy
in Gambling discussion
I can never encourage any gambling site to have app.

What if you have children at home and you downloaded the app, will that be good as children likes accessing their parents devices?

The gambling application that some sites have today is intended to make it easier for players to play without having to open the web first and I think this is a pretty good innovation to do because this is a form of service from the site.
For the problem of our gadgets that are used for children or those who borrow gadgets that we have, I think that is not the responsibility of the site but we as parents. If we do have a condition where children always borrow their parents' gadgets or cellphones then we as parents must be more prepared by locking applications or storing in a place that our own children will not open. That's our job because it is part of the gambler's responsibility not the site's responsibility because it has led to a more personal realm when there are applications on the cellphone or gadget that we have and the site is not responsible for this.

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26
in Gambling discussion
I think is safe to say somebody like the Como manager Fabregas made a wise decision by staying put at Como when some other clubs came calling. This is another example of not every big call is good to answer, ignore some calls and move on but it doesn't seem that way for Alonso. He was doing extremely well at Bayer Leverkusen until he choose Madrid over a team he built to be unstoppable in the Bundesliga now take a good look at how he threw everything he worked for because he wanted Madrid a high profile club, this is sad.
It's another victim of a big club making a big offer and indeed as you say it's too soon for a career advancement nor is it too good for a coach to get the place and treatment he deserves.
But this is not something new because previously we also often saw especially in the EPL like when Potter for Chelsea and Amorim for Manchester United and indeed another iconic for La Liga is Xavi at Barcelona who has almost the same conditions.

Xabi was a very good coach but he left too soon because his experience and mentality were still immature, even though he was at a great level of improvement but being at a club like Madrid then this condition could definitely happen at any time when the situation was not favorable for him.
This is Madrid's quickest dismissal of a coach in recent seasons because when you look at past history this is a rare occurrence for Madrid.

Re: Is holding Bitcoin harder financially or psychologically?
in Bitcoin Discussion
However, its even harder when it comes to psychological aspect most especially that bitcoin investment is quite risky that requires more knowledge and understanding on the volatility matter of bitcoin and market itself, and any impatient and impulsive investor will not be good for bitcoin as it could mean bigger losses than wins.
Because it is this factor that is sometimes difficult for those who have just stepped on bitcoin or those who are fomo on bitcoin to pass.
The psychological aspect is always a threat to those who are not really sure what they are doing but this can be overcome when experience and confidence are already formed.

It is quite natural when talking about psychology when everything related to money or value is certainly not easy as well as when we are in bitcoin but conditions like this will not change as long as we do not learn risk management and what we plan. There will definitely be a little impact including feeling a little uncomfortable when bitcoin goes down (even for those who have been in bitcoin for a long time) but what makes the difference here is when those of us who already know about risk management and are ready for all the worst possibilities because we are confident in bitcoin then the decisions that will be taken afterwards will be the difference because psychological factors like this will always be there but it depends on how we take action with it.

Re: Famous people that died poor
in Economics

When you are famous, you want to keep a kind of lifestyle that people see as your standard, by so doing, you begin to live beyond your means without you even noticing you did just to keep an impression. What I have noticed is people are only attracted to the money the fame you have carries, immediately the money is gone, the respect and attention you get from people starts diminishing.
It will be considered a standard because at the end of the day there will be a lot of factors that must be considered when we are famous including image and style. I think not only those who are famous because of this standard now even most of us are more adhering to where the ego and always showing something fashionable or glamorous is the choice so that the views of others do not become bad for us. Not a few of us always force ourselves with it,

Especially those who are already famous, it is certain that when the prestige begins to fade, they will try to force to increase their prestige again, the most important thing is that they are not lost from the views of many people.

Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions
in Gambling discussion

It seems he already agreed to a salary cut (around 25%) when he moved to Barcelona? If he has other options, it's unlikely he'll be happy with a further pay cut. Besides, with Amorim's dismissal, could a return to United become an option? Who knows. Personally, I remain skeptical about Rashford, so if he ends up staying in Barcelona, it will be good for him. And probably for Real Madrid fans too  Grin
Neither can really be an option because even though Amorim is no longer at Manchester United but Rashford's current performance also does not allow for further consideration.
Being at Barcelona could be a good option even if he will only be a rotational player just like now but at least the faith has not faded.

It's just that with salary cuts and clauses that are even reduced by half, there is still no clarity from Barcelona and Rashford is still quite hanging for his future.
Barcelona will obviously be very lucky if this happens and what you said about Madrid could also be makesense lol.

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26
in Gambling discussion
Valencia once again failed to get a win. They can't get out of the relegation zone which is very worrying. After the 19th week, they don't even have 1 point per game average. In recent home matches, they always draw 1-1. Elche were an opponent they could've beaten, but they barely managed to get even a draw. Clearly something needs to change at the club. Either new signings or a new manager, they need to do something before it's too late.
It's hard to expect Valencia now because looking at the string of results received it looks like their chances are getting harder and harder although they can still compete to get out but of course this depends on their performance on the field.

At the moment they are really bad although in the match against Elche they tried their best but their poor attacking line made many opportunities seem not too applicable to them.
With this result they are still stuck in the relegation zone but if there is a miracle just like they did last season where the end of the season the improvement in performance was felt then maybe they can still return to survive the current bad situation.

Re: Do you think people with hard luck quit gambling?
in Gambling discussion
Unlucky gamblers don't necessarily stop after losing. They might still gamble to win, but it depends on their mindset. If their mindset is wise from the start, they might stop after just one loss.
I've personally experienced unlucky situations, but I continued gambling because I still wanted to win. So, I think whether or not to stop depends on each individual's awareness.
So many gamblers have this positive mindset toward gambling, which leads them to think that by keeping on playing, they have a chance of winning. Understanding is very important in gambling, and when you don't have the right understanding, you might think everything you are doing is the right thing. Mindset is the main factor in gambling, and if you have the wrong mindset, it can lead you to outcomes you never even planned for.
It's okay to think positively even when gambling but this mindset can become a little biased when those who lose always say they will succeed and reverse their previous losses which ultimately causes their mindset to cloud their rationality when gambling.

Many gamblers seem to think that this is a positive mindset but they don't realize that their situation is already dire and their mistake is fatal causing their expectations from gambling to go awry because their so called positive mindset slowly changes so that winning always becomes the goal in their gambling.

Yet we know that gambling is not just about winning in fact losing is what always dominates. However some of us do not think too much about this simply because we try to think positively about gambling which we always do.

Re: Never underestimate your potential in sports betting
in Gambling discussion
Seen a lot of gamblers who stick to sports betting but dont really believe they can win long term, and some of them think gambling is pure luck, yet they keep betting anyway. That honestly doesnt make sense to me, its like wasting time without a clear goal imo.

I don't think it's about distrust but realizing the potential that we will not always succeed in a gamble despite our best efforts to analyze and research.

In addition most of us gamblers who are not too sure about longterm profits and always consider luck which still has a role at least to balance our analysis is that we don't believe too much that gambling is a solution because sometimes for those people who are overconfident when gambling usually the worst possibility is addiction and don't want to admit that the gambling they do is bigger losses than profits. So, by looking at this I think it will be very natural when there are many gamblers who prefer to be modest and  will be in it so as not to bring up excessive ego and assume that gambling can make us profitable in the long run because this is clearly not possible to do.
